Storyworlds Introduction

Every 4000 years, the parliament of worlds meet to discuss the lessons to bring to the future. They meet in a secret place known as the Story Forest. To get to this secret place, they have to travel through the map of lost stories. In the last 4000 years, there are concerns that many lessons/stories from the past have been lost. People have stopped listening to each other. One secret organization of children are known as the story searchers. They protect stories and have decided to travel through the world of Forests to collect lessons from stories and restore balance in this eco-system. Using the hidden map, they have been challenged to travel each world, collecting and planting story seeds. These story seeds will then grow and be shared. The challenge will only end when all the lost stories are collected and shared at parliament. The story searchers will travel to the parliament of worlds to share their ideas, listen to others and speak their truth. They will have two guides. Let’s hope they make it.

As you travel, remember to complete the following tasks:

  • Create a giant map of different sections of the  forest world. Piece them together.
  • Write down any questions you have about this world and those who live here.
  • Tell/draw/sing/dance a story about what you have found out.
